Spin the Vote and Hotel BPMPosted: Friday Sept. 7th 2012
Spin the Vote is excited to partner with Brooklyn’s highly anticipated Hotel BPM Brooklyn, created by DJ BIJAL. The hotel, which recently began welcoming guests in Brooklyn, NY, is joining Spin the Vote’s campaign to register the EDM community to vote in 2012.
Starting this month, all Hotel BPM guestrooms will be outfitted with folders containing voter registration forms and information about Spin the Vote. Guests can get Spin the Vote buttons, and hotel staff will rock our awesome Spin the Vote t-shirts!
"We could not be more excited to partner with Spin the Vote for the upcoming presidential election, it is great to see power of music used to help promote voter awareness," said DJ BIJAL, founder of Hotel BPM. "There is no better way to educate the public about the importance of voting than through music and Hotel BPM could not be a better fit for this collaboration."
"Partnering with Hotel BPM on the Spin the Vote project is an incredible opportunity for us to really educate and empower our fans to have a voice," said Erika Raney, Communications & CSR Director for Insomniac. "We are excited about the collaboration during September leading up to National Voter Registration Day, especially with the location, music appeal and reach of Hotel BPM."
Hotel BPM, named for the term "beats per minute," blends the world of music and hospitality together. Conceptualized by popular deejay DJ BIJAL, the musically inspired boutique property features 76 rooms.
